It is generally a good idea to give every dog their own private space.
There are some instances where it may be okay to allow two dogs to share one kennel.
If the dogs are from the same litter or have grown up together since they were puppies they should be fine sharing a kennel together.
Dogs need their own space to relax and be by themselves, by not having their own kennel they would not experience the benefits that it provides.
Two dogs sharing a kennel might have a clash of personalities which may lead to a falling out between them.
What we would recommend is getting two kennels but keeping them near to each other. This allows for the dog to have their own private space while still being able to play with the other dog when they want.
